Serving Women and Families in Greenville and the Surrounding Area

The Darke County Pregnancy Help Center (PHC) has been in Greenville, Ohio, for nearly four decades.

In 1985, the Pregnancy Help Center began as a hotline for women with unwanted pregnancies called Abortion Accurate Information. The goal was to offer these women a healthy alternative and provide support throughout pregnancy. Eventually, a storefront location for material aid was established, and the ministry expanded.

Today, the center continues to flourish. In addition to the original hotline and material resources, we offer mentor-led, one-on-one classes with our clients, covering information from conception to toddlerhood. We provide groups for grieving moms who struggle with infant loss, classes for dads to learn better fatherhood skills, free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, and a host of other opportunities.

The Pregnancy Help Center has also stepped outside our walls to connect with local school districts, using a program called “I Decide for Me.” This program is designed to aid students in making healthy life choices, particularly in regard to sexual risk avoidance.

Ultimately, we realize that our connection with our clients is just a small part of their journey. We strive to uphold our motto every chance we get: “providing hope in the unplanned.”

Our Staff and Volunteers

The Darke County Pregnancy Help Center attributes its success to two things: God’s blessings and an amazing group of staff and volunteers. This group, bringing a wide range of gifts and talents, comes from all walks of life.

Some of us are parents and grandparents. Some have never had children and others have experienced pregnancy loss or the trauma that comes with the choice of abortion. No matter our history, we are bound together with our love for God and our love for babies and parents. We strongly desire to see our clients flourish and find joy in their parenting journey!

Our staff and volunteers fill many roles to help the center run smoothly. We have client mentors, board members, event planners, donation sorters, classroom presenters, etc.
